Blade & Bow Films is a female-run independent company based in Glasgow. Founded by writer & director Hayley Louise McGuire and cinematographer Jayme Bartlett, Blade & Bow was born out of a strong shared passion for storytelling and dedication to Scottish cinema.

 

We may be small in size but we're fuelled by big ambitions and we're here to make movie magic alongside our film family of exceptional collaborators! The dream is to bring the tales that deeply resonate with us to screen and genuinely connect with our audience. Not only that, but through our love of sharing stories we aim to bring people together, help create space for underrepresented voices, continue to push for more diversity in film and make the arts more accessible!
